Coldplay Adds New Concert Date to Hong Kong Shows!

Great news for Coldplay fans as the band are adding an extra night to their Hong Kong concert tour!

As tickets for the three sold-out shows in April flew off the shelves, the band has added a new date for their show, April 8, 2025, and tickets are going on sale next week, on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 via Cityline, so keep your eyes peeled!

In October, Coldplay shared the exciting news that they were coming to Hong Kong on Instagram, confirming they'll be hitting the stage at Kai Tak Sports Park on April 9, 11, and 12, 2025. They last performed in Hong Kong in 2009 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, so this is a major homecoming for their local fans!

The band will be lighting up the brand-new 50,000-seat Kai Tak Sports Park as part of their epic Music of the Spheres World Tour.

Coldplay has also hinted at something extra special: the release of theirtenth studio album Moon Music, dropping on October 4, 2024.

A sequel to Music of the Spheres, this new album is sure to make its way into their live performances, including songs like "We Pray" featuring stars Little Simz and Burna Boy, and "feelslikeimfallinginlove.” We bet there will also be all the classics we know and love too: Paradise, Viva La Vida, Fix You, Charlie Brown, The Scientist, and more.

Meanwhile, a mystery guest is set to grace the stage in Hong Kong, whose identity remains a secret for now.

The band have announced they will be hitting Mumbai in January, Hong Kong in April, and continue on to Seoul.

On Sept.13, 2025, the Andaz Kitchen will be bringing together culinary teams from Andaz Macau, Galaxy Macau, and independent local vendors for a vibrant mosaic of Macau’s Chinese and Portuguese heritage.

The Sino-Luso Gastronomic Bazaar celebrates Macau’s rich heritage as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, showcasing a journey through Portugal’s diverse regions and China’s culinary heartlands from Trás-O-Montes to the Pearl River Delta. Guests can expect authentic dishes, handpicked wines, and artisanal finds while exploring flavors that have shaped Macau’s heritage.

Complementing them are dishes from Galaxy Macau’s most beloved restaurants — Bei Shan Lou, Spicy Sichuan, and Pak Lo Chiu Chow Restaurant — presenting Northeast Chinese, Sichuan, and Chiu Chow cuisines.

The evening’s centrepiece is a four-hand dinner helmed by Chef André Lai and Executive Chef Chek Keong Chan of Feng Wei Jui, the two-Michelin-starred Hunan and Sichuan restaurant at StarWorld Hotel. Together, they will craft a celebratory dinner menu that bridges robust flavours from Northern Portugal and Michelin-starred Hunan and Sichuan savoir-faire.

Beyond the gilded plates, visitors and guests can expect live music, artful ambiance, and a marketplace of artisanal produce from Portugal and China. Local favourites such as Hop Kei Peanut Candies, Chui Heong Bakery, and Macalhau Portuguese Codfish Restaurant also add a vibrant local flavour to the international affair.

The hit Netflix Japanese drama is based on the novel series of the same name by Miko Wakagi, published from 1993 to 2011. The story follows the story of musical group TENBLANK and its members as they make a mark on their journey as musicians.

Akane Saijo (Yu Miyazaki), a college student and aspiring drummer, is unexpectedly removed from her former band just before their debut. She gets recruited by Naoki Fujitani (Takeru Satoh), a talented musician, for his band TENBLANK. Together with members Sho Takaoka (Keita Machida) and Kazushi Sakamoto (Jun Shison), they slowly become famous and known to the public eye.

lululemon's ‘Like New' Pilot Hosts Pop-Up Resale, Workshops, and a Party

lululemon is redefining the future of fashion with pre-loved garments. From Sept. 17 to 21, 2025, the brand will host its "Like New" Pop-Up Event at PMQ, Central, inviting the public to shop curated pre-loved activewear, join hands-on workshops, and celebrate mindful movement through a run & coffee party.

The pop-up marks Phase 2 of lululemon’s "Like New" pilot in Hong Kong, following a successful Phase 1 product take-back initiative held from April to August. During that phase, over 3,800gently worn items were collected across select stores, sorted by Redress, a Hong Kong-based nonprofit championing circular fashion, and prepared for resale or repair.

V Cycle supported reverse logistics, ensuring all items were responsibly consolidated and delivered for sorting. Unsellable or unsold pieces will be donated to Crossroads or redirected to local communities in need.

Now, lululemon is unveiling the results with a professionally cleaned and restored collection of high-quality gear, available for purchase at the pop-up. The event is powered by a meaningful collaboration with Redress, with lululemon pledging to donate either 100% of net profits or 2% of revenue (whichever is higher) to support sustainable fashion initiatives.

In the initiative’s series of events, guests can also participate in upcycling workshops, crafting accessories like scrunchies and keychains from repurposed materials. Each session costs HK$100 and is redeemable as credit toward same-day purchases.

Another highlight of the week is the "Like New Run x Coffee Rave" on Sept. 20, 2025, where guests will jog through Central with lululemon ambassadors Calvin Au Yeung and Stephanie Cuvelier before dancing into the morning at PMQ’s coffee rave with Bad Time Disco’s co-founder, Ani Phoebe, on the deck.

While the "Like New Pop-Up" is a walk-in only event, guests can register via Eventbrite for the workshops here and the Run x Coffee Rave here.
