1. Happy Wednesday: Oktoberfest
Celebrate Happy Wednesday: Oktoberfest on Oct. 9, 16, and 30 at Happy Valley Racecourse. Enjoy live horseracing, Bavarian tunes, and hearty German cuisine from the Happy Wednesday Food Truck. Highlights include the ceremonial first tap of Hong Kong Jockey Club CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges and Consul General of Germany Stefan Bredohl and performances by six-piece folk-rock band The Young Bucks and traditional folk band Die Notenhobler. 2. James Alyn Live in Hong Kong
Catch James Alyn, one half of Thai indie-pop sensation HYBS, live as he brings his first solo Asian tour to Hong Kong on Oct. 10 at Kitty Woo Stadium, Tung Po. Organized by NEON LIT and Clockenflap Presents, this special performance will see the trendsetting indie-pop singer-songwriter showcase his new solo material, along with some of HYBS’s biggest hits. To make the night more memorable, Thai singer and actress PAMI will also appear as a special guest. Tickets are priced at HK$580 for free seating and HK$680 for free standing.
3. Eaton HK Presents the Flower Years x Carlsberg Y2K Oktoberfest
Join the ultimate Y2K Oktoberfest Party at Flower Years, Eaton HK’s signature beer label and restaurant, on Oct. 10 from 6:30 PM to 11 PM. 8. CIRCLE & Cheaper Than Therapy Present: CIRCLE THERAPY with Foodman (Live)
Join CIRCLE & Cheaper Than Therapy for Circle Therapy with Foodman (Live) on Oct. 12, from 11 PM to 6 AM.
