The bar at Regent Hong Kong is celebrating its third anniversary with a one-night guest shift featuring Italy's Federico Balzarini and globe-trotting Danil Nevsky, bringing two different corners of the global bar scene together from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
Federico Balzarini’s journey behind the bar has taken him from his native Lake Garda in Northern Italy to London, where he worked at the now closed Hubbard & Bell and the legendary American Bar at The Savoy. He later headed to Bangkok’s award-winning Vesper before becoming beverage manager at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. Now back in Italy, he is the co-founder of Ciotti Salò.
Sharing the bar is Danil Nevsky, who cocktail lovers may already know as the Cocktail Man. Known for his witty, often all-too-relatable takes on the drinks industry, Nevsky has built a following both behind the bar and online. Beyond the feed, he founded Indie Bartender, an online resource for bartenders around the world, and co-founded bartender merch brand Broken Bartender. His work within the community also earned him the Best International Bar Mentor title at the 2024 Spirited Awards.
