Hong Kong loves a good bar hop, and few can forget Margarita Mile's award-winning debut last year. Returning for its second edition from Sept. 1-16, 2026, the mile-long cocktail trail brings together 10 of the city's favorite bars, each pouring an exclusive El Tequileño creation for the occasion.
Fresh off winning the Best Event of the Year at The Spirits Business Awards 2025, Margarita Mile returns this year with new exciting prizes and the luckiest winner and their plus one jetting off to Tequila, Mexico, for a three-night stay at Casa Salles, where they'll be treated to an exclusive distillery and agave field tour with the El Tequileño team!
How to enter? Simply enjoy some El Tequileño tequila at the featured bars, collect a stamp at every bar you visit, and submit your Margarita Mile Passport for a shot at travelling to the birthplace of tequila, for free!
How to Participate
The idea is simple: Drink great cocktails and get rewarded for it!
Start by picking up a free Margarita Mile Passport at any participating venue, then order one of the featured El Tequileño cocktails to earn a stamp. Every cocktail purchased equals one stamp, so the more bars you visit and cocktails you try, the more chances you'll have to qualify for prizes.
This year's participating venues include The Old Man, Honky Tonks Tavern, COA, Dead Poets, Bourke's, Dragonfly, Socio, The Pontiac, Lockdown, and Mixing Room.

Once you're done collecting stamps, make sure to submit your passport at any participating bar by Sept. 23, 2026.
Every participant who collects five or more stamps will receive a free El Tequileño shot as soon as they submit their passport and shot glass to take home. They will also enter a draw with two winners walking away with a bottle of El Tequileño 1959 The Sassenach Select Tequila, valued at HK$1,208. In addition to the free shot and shot glass, participants who collect all ten stamps will be entered into the grand prize draw for a chance to win a trip for two to Tequila, Mexico, return flights, three nights' accommodation, and an exclusive distillery and agave field tour hosted by the El Tequileño team included!
Winners will be notified through the phone number or email address provided on their passport on or before Sept. 30, 2026. Continue reading for more details.
Meet the Bars
At every bar you stop at, order their featured Margarita Mile cocktail, an El Tequileño margarita, or any cocktail made with El Tequileño to collect a stamp for your passport.
One of the biggest draws of Margarita Mile is the opportunity to try out El Tequileño's award-winning tequila and enjoy new drinks created specifically for the event, with each venue putting its own spin on the classic margarita.

Hong Kong's own Taichi Kho is officially coming home to play, and he's bringing career-best form with him. The 25-year-old, currently No. 2 on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, confirmed his spot in the 65th Link Hong Kong Open, organizers announced at a press conference on Aug. 13, 2026.
The tournament is set for Oct. 22 to 25, 2026 at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. First played in 1959, the Hong Kong Open is the city's longest-running international sporting event and one of only two professional golf tournaments in the world to have been staged at the same venue for six decades or more. The other is the Masters at Augusta National.
Kho is arriving on a hot streak. After turning pro three years ago, he beat two-time Major Champion Bubba Watson at the International Series Morocco in June, a week after finishing runner-up at the Japan Golf Tour Championship in a play-off. He also picked up individual gold — and team bronze — at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, and became the first Hong Kong player ever to win an Asian Tour event with his 2023 World City Championship title at this same Fanling course. He followed that with a win in Switzerland in 2024 and a T-6 finish at last year's Hong Kong Open.
"I am thrilled to be returning to my home course to compete at the Link Hong Kong Open this October," Kho said. "The course has given me many very special memories, and some of my biggest successes have been achieved there and in front of my home fans."
Kho also pointed to the growth of the game back home. "It's really nice to see the growth of the game in Hong Kong and how much work the Golf Association of Hong Kong, China and the Hong Kong Golf Club have done to increase access to kids [who] want to get involved," he said. "It's really heartwarming to see all these kids that are picking up the club at such young ages, and so many programs to support kids trying to get into golf. Hong Kong golf is in a really great place, and events like the Link Hong Kong Open really accelerate that going into the future as well."
Hong Kong Golf Club Captain Bryant Lu said the tournament's "Open for All" push continues this year, with free entry for all spectators on the opening two days, Thursday and Friday, and complimentary access for anyone 18 and under across all four rounds.
"It is going to be an exceptional week of sport and family entertainment," Lu said.
Title sponsor Link Asset Management is also expanding its off-course footprint. "We're really proud to be supporting one of Asia's most prestigious golf tournaments," said David Ashton, Link's Managing Director of External Affairs. "For us, sport has a unique ability to bring people together, and we believe that when communities are active, connected and inspired, everyone benefits. Through our partnership, we've attempted to bring golf to a wider and more diverse community of people. This year, we'll be hosting a Community Day at the event, as well as raising funds for community sport NGOs through the Link Charity Golf Day, which will take place after the event. We look forward to welcoming players, fans, and the wider community to Fanling for another week of world-class golf."
Beyond bragging rights, the tournament boasts a US$2 million purse, and it's an Official World Golf Ranking event carrying the government's "M" Mark status, a designation reserved for the territory's most intense, spectacular, and signature events.
"It was very fulfilling to see Tom McKibbin earn his spot at this year's Masters Tournament and Open Championship through his victory in Hong Kong last year. It once again validated the Link Hong Kong Open's stature in world golf," said Asian Tour Commissioner and CEO Cho Minn Thant.
For everyone not teeing it up themselves, weekend tickets for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24 and 25, 2026, run for HK$200 per day or HK$300 for a weekend pass. Free weekend passes for spectators aged 18 and under.

The 2026 edition of the park's "The Grave Rave"-themed Halloween Fest runs from Sept. 5 to Nov. 1, 2026 on designated dates, marking one of Hong Kong's largest seasonal takeovers, with new haunted zones, roaming ghouls, gothic dance parties, and a nightlife-style finale.
Headlining the event is the "FWD Insurance Presents: Under the Castle Haunted Experience," based on "Under the Castle," an original fantasy universe created and creatively directed by Jackson Wang. The attraction reimagines The Summit as a mist-covered, neon-green castle where guests wander through mirror illusions and escape crystal-cursed "living dead" creating a looping nightmare that blur reality and dream.
Instagram/ Jackson Wang
The Under the Castle zone extends well beyond the haunted house. A dark ride, "Bumper Blaster," bathes its bumper cars in shadowy green light as riders dodge roaming ghosts, while a carnival-style "Nightmare Game Booth" offers limited-edition prizes. Guests can also stop by the "SnapGenie Spot," an interactive booth generating AI-powered fantasy photo backdrops; "Into the Mirror," a gravity-defying photo installation built for social media; and the "Phantom Lounge," a nightly ballroom dance where a mysterious host presides over a classical waltz. A separate "Gothic Ball" invites gothic-attired guests to sway to distorted classical music in a darkly romantic hall.
Three more haunted zones round out the scare lineup: "AEON Card Presents: Voodoo Boo Terror Park," a 3D-glasses blackout experience at The Waterfront that plunges guests into a distorted spectral world and challenges them to restore the park's power; "Orion Beer Presents: Troublesome Night 8," inspired by the classic Hong Kong horror film of the same name, which winds through abandoned villages and coffin altars under a mysterious medium's guidance; and "Forbidden Asylum," where guests use bone-conduction headphones to investigate a psychiatric hospital's mass disappearance and uncover a "bloody truth." A parallel dimension, "Hong Kong Paranormal Barrier," resurrects local legends, including paper dolls, Meng Po, a Taoist priest, and the Black and White Impermanence.
Voodoo Boo, the mischievous ghost anchoring the Waterfront zone, also returns for meet-and-greet sessions and a game party, "Voodoo Boo All Night," featuring hosts, games, and hidden prizes.
For scares, you can pose with roving costumed characters and Ocean Park has doubled the number to more than 120 characters spread throughout the park.

Nightly entertainment includes "Trip.com Presents: OPPA Scaremonies," featuring an eight-member "infernal" group called Demoon King, and Hong Kong's largest-ever "Ghoulish Cosplay Party," complete with an OOTD contest crowning a Ghost King and Queen, solo character showcases and DJ sets spanning Canto-Pop, J-Pop, and K-Pop. A few more shows round out the lineup: "Sway Pole Spectacle," with stilt performers; "Diva Paper Doll Reviving Night," in which joss paper dolls come to life; "Fright Spark Sliders," featuring acrobatic zombies; "Asylum Forbidden Stage," a high-energy dance showcase from "asylum inmates;" Skelebration Fiesta," a daytime celebration that turns into a skeleton parade after dark; and lastly, a roaming "Spooky Live Band."
Families have plenty to look forward to. The "Bulu Boo Trick-or-Treat Party" and "Trick or Roll Game" offer lower-scare, candy-focused joy for kids, while a haunted ride on the Ocean Express and the nightly light-and-water show "Gala of Lights: Let in the Dark," featuring projections, water curtains, and dancing fountains.
Entry to the designated haunted houses and select attractions requires a Halloween Haunted Combo Ticket, and event details are subject to change without prior notice.
