Ne-Yo, MEOVV, and members of MIRROR are taking over Wan Chai Harbourfront for the 2026 return of FWD Insurance Presents: Spooky Halloween.

Organized by Live Nation Electronic Asia, the Halloween music carnival returns from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2026 at the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space, combining nightly live performances with a supersized carnival packed with horror attractions, installations, games, and food.

The Mainstage Music Zone kicks off on Oct. 30 with underground electronic acts Holy Priest, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, and AK SPORTS, plus DJ KPEE (aka Kelvin Poon) performing with a mystery guest.

Halloween night itself gets a K-Pop meets Cantopop crossover, as MEOVV joins MIRROR members Alton, AK, Frankie and Lokman, alongside VIVA and IdG Bubbles.

Closing night on Nov. 1 belongs to Grammy-winning R&B star Ne-Yo, sharing the bill with Marf, Kiri T, and Gordon Flanders.

Beyond the music, the carnival is going big — literally. Visitors can snap photos with a 9-meter Colossal Titan from "Attack on Titan" and Godzilla, while pop artist Matt Gondek is bringing custom giant inflatable installations to the grounds.

Those after actual scares can enter CLOT's "Parade of Demons" haunted maze, an immersive attraction inspired by Eastern horror. Kids will also have their fun at the family zone, which features themed booth games, food, and a large Halloween bouncy castle and slide.

All-access passes, which cover both the mainstage and carnival and are restricted to guests aged 18 and older, start at HK$730 for early-bird buyers, before handling fees. Regular single-day passes cost HK$930. Carnival-only tickets are HK$170 for adults and HK$50 for guests aged 17 and younger. Tickets can be booked online via this link.

The carnival runs from 4 to 10 PM on Oct. 30, and from 12 NN to 10 PM on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Mainstage performances run from 6 to 10:30 PM daily.

Before you plot your Halloween fits, just take note that masks, full-face paint, and special effects makeup covering the face are not allowed.

Hong Kong’s dessert lovers have new dates to mark on their calendars, as Ciao! Gelato Fest 2026 is taking over PMQ Central on two consecutive weekends next month. Happening on Oct. 1-4 and 9-11, 2026, the event will turn the creative hub into a playground of artisanal gelato, inventive dessert mashups, and exclusive flavors from some of Hong Kong’s most exciting makers.

Presented and organized by Circus Media (H.K.) Limited, the team behind Gelato-gather Festival, Hong Kong’s first-ever Italian gelato market, this year’s lineup spans everything from traditional Italian craftsmanship to unique food innovations.

Visitors can try OKALO’s 0 Net Calorie Impact Gelato Pops that were developed with local university researchers, explore Hong Kong-inspired sweet soup flavors reinvented by Ganto Gelato, and sample creations from Edenly Gelato, whose founder trained under a World Gelato Championship runner-up. International names such as Okinawa’s YONNA YONNA Gelato, Macau’s DIGREEN, and Italian specialists DAYVI and I SCREAM will also be serving scoops, alongside collaborations like the Mamegumo x Little Little Bake Lab Tofu Pudding Brûlée Canelé and Manteigaria’s Portuguese egg tart and gelato pairing.

To mark the launch, the event will be giving away 10 Gelato Tasting Passes, each valued at HK$188, that allow holders to redeem six mini cups of gelato so they can sample multiple brands and flavors across the festival.

Walk for a Cause: Hong Kong Pink Walk Returns on Oct. 25, 2026

Hong Kong is getting ready to turn The Peak a little pinker this October.

The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation's Pink Walk 2026 will take place on Oct. 25, 2026, at Peak Road Garden, bringing participants together for a 3.5-kilometer charity walk in support of breast health. The event runs from 8:30 AM to 1 PM, with the walk expected to take around 1 to 1.5 hours.

Registration closes at 6 PM on Oct. 16, although enrolment may end earlier if the event reaches capacity. Participants can select from staggered start times beginning at 9 AM until 12 NN, and must check in 30 minutes before their confirmed slot.

Beyond clocking in a lot of scenic steps, walkers can turn their participation into a fundraising campaign through their own "Pink Walker" page. Individuals and teams can customize their profiles, share fundraising messages, and track donations from supporters.

New for 2026 are Recognition Tags, which add a little friendly competition to the fundraising effort. Participants can earn Supporter Milestone Tags by attracting five, 10, or 20 supporters, while Fundraising Achievement Tags recognize those who raise more than HK$10,000, HK$50,000, or HK$100,000.

There are prizes at stake too. Registered walkers can compete for Top Fundraiser Awards and the Highest Participation Award. There's also the famous Best Dressed Pink Awards. And if you're not ready to dress up in pink, add a touch of the color by heading over to their face painting booth.

Pink Walk incorporates greener event practices this year. Recycling facilities and water refill stations will be available, reusable goodie bags will help cut down on single-use waste, and a clean-up team will ensure the place is left in pristine condition. The event's pink T-shirts, supported by apparel sponsor DETERMINANT, use an earthy pink natural dye derived from madder plant roots.

Registered participants who join the walk on-site can receive a goodie bag while supplies last, and all registered participants will receive an e-certificate by email within 30 days after the event.

So, wear comfortable shoes, bring a reusable water bottle, and wear as much pink as possible.

Add a five-day food crawl to your holiday plans this December.

The 24th Hong Kong Food Festival will run from Dec. 24 to 28, 2026, at Hall 3 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), bringing six themed food zones under one roof for the Christmas season.

Gathering food brands from Hong Kong and overseas, the festival offers categories ranging from familiar snacks to drinks, and even wellness-focused products. Buckle up because it's guaranteed to be a big one. Organizers, after all, bill it as December's largest indoor food carnival and boast that the annual event attracts more than a million visitors each year.

The six food zones cover Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese food and local snacks; international cuisine, wine, coffee, and desserts; Southeast Asian specialties; Chinese Festive food, grain and oil, and dried seafood area; health, wellness, and vegetarian area; and a Premium Brand Zone.

It's a loaded lineup, built to give you everything you need from snack-stockpiling, experimenting with other regional flavors, gifting to family and friends, and refilling pantry essentials.

For brands interested in snagging a booth, exhibitor registration is now open across all six themed zones. With hundreds of thousands of people looking to make the holidays special, organizers are encouraging brands to take part and not miss the opportunity to showcase their brand to international visitors as well.

The Hong Kong Food Festival will also share the holiday crowd with three concurrent exhibitions: HK Mega Showcase, HK Homex, and e-Expo & Auto HK.
