Christmas Sharelebration! Pop-up Market 2023 at Three Garden Road

In the spirit of the giving season, this Christmas Pop-up Market offers the chance to give back with each purchase. A vibrant showcase of lovingly made products and crafts from over 20 local social enterprises, check out the array of thoughtfully crafted seasonal products and fun experiences. Every purchase at this meaningful market helps participating organizers create job and training opportunities for disadvantaged communities, promoting social and cultural inclusion and advocating for fair trade.

The event will also be illuminated by the sounds of the Great Eagle Music Children Ensemble of the Music Children Foundation, who will perform Christmas carols at the Lighting Ceremony, followed by a day full of entertainment; featuring magic shows, storytelling, balloon twisting, book crossing, and Christmas card-making activities.

Scandinavian Christmas Markets at Lee Tung Avenue

The Swedish and Finnish Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong are bringing the wintry charm of Nordic festivities to Hong Kong with two captivating Christmas markets at Lee Tung Avenue!

The “Swedish Winter 2023” market is a family-friendly event slated for the first weekend in December. Set to feature a Santa Claus Meet & Greet, the market offers an authentic Swedish Christmas, complete with traditional Nordic winter delights, unique Christmas gifts for sale, and delicious Scandinavian fare. There will also be a special meet and greet with Santa Claus!

Following this, the “Finnish Northern Light” market will take place the weekend after. Visitors can indulge in signature Finnish eats and admire Christmas ornaments crafted by Hong Kong artisans. There will also be some themed workshops, including gingerbread biscuit making and beginner Finnish classes, providing a comprehensive experience of Nordic culture. Embodying the spirit of giving, a portion of the market's proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish Hong Kong to help cheer up children battling critical illnesses.

Set atop Dolphin Square at China Ferry Terminal, offering panoramic Victoria Harbour views, this inventive market runs for four consecutive weekends starting Dec. 8, 2023 (11 days total). The market invites car owners to participate as sellers, for no participation charge, offering an excellent platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase and sell eco-friendly Christmas gifts and creative products.

Car owners can register online here to join as sellers and bring their vehicles directly into the venue. The market is open to products that are creative, culturally significant, and handmade, as well as the sale of preloved items, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
