Celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th Year With Special Installation at Harbour City
Hello Kitty is making an appearance all over Harbour City to celebrate her 50th anniversary. Celebrate and enjoy the special exhibition and pop-up across the mall from now until Feb. 25.
Celebrating her golden year in different parts of the world, the Hello Kitty brand has partnered up with Harbour City as an official “International Friendship Ambassador,” and has prepared five experiential zones you can visit and enjoy with your family and friends!
Snap photos at the thematic installation “Parade Performance” located at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt and make your wishes come true with the 5-meter-high Hello Kitty Daruma surrounded by pink apple trees or follow the big beating drums at “Hello Kitty Lion Dance Garden” and learn more about traditional Chinese dragon dance with the cute character.
For collectors and avid fans, march on to the “Every Flower Tells a Story” art exhibition and delight your eyes with exclusive collaborations, limited-edition sculptures, paintings, and jewellery from top European artisans and Japanese artist Hisahiro Fukazawa’s collection of Hello Kitty-inspired exquisite 24-Karat Gold Acrylic Paintings.
Additionally, two pop-up stores are made available for the celebration, including an exclusive collaboration between Hello Kitty and Kee Wah Bakery Candies & Cookies, where fans can buy gift boxes, and a global exclusive pop-up with a photo spot with anniversary collectibles and other goodies up for sale.
