The Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign is set to revive the city’s after-hours economy, and the upcoming free Waterfront Carnival in Wan Chai is a key highlight of the initiative. From Sept. 27 to Oct. 2, the Wan Chai Waterfront Water Sports and Recreation Theme Area will come alive with a vibrant celebration of Hong Kong’s culture and culinary delights.

Visitors to the carnival will have the opportunity to indulge in typical Hong Kong street food, including Chinese pastries, brined goodies, rice, snacks such as grilled squid and chicken cakes, skewers, and wash it down with craft beer.

One of the captivating highlights of the event will be the mesmerising drone displays. These drones will create stunning images of Hong Kong’s iconic landmarks and showcase the city’s local art and culture.

There will also be opportunities to immerse in Hong Kong’s history and culture through various activities and demonstrations. Experience the art of fold fortune-telling, witness Feng Shui and numerology demonstrations, admire sparrow carving and flour doll exhibits and learn about the intricate process of steamer weaving.

The Waterfront Carnival will also be filled with enchanting melodies of Chinese and Western musical instrument dances, captivating hip-hop performances, and soulful singing acts. The Fringe Club will host 10 bands each night, performing classics in addition to original songs to entertain all kinds of audiences.
