The S2O Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival, dubbed the world's largest water music party, is set to electrify the Central Harbourfront Event Space this weekend on June 8 and 9. The event coincides with the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend, offering an alternative to traditional festivities.
S2O Hong Kong 2024 will feature three stages: the S2O Main Stage, "Summer Beats Stage," and SMOOO "Underground Stage," each promising diverse music styles and genres. The Main Stage, themed "Hydro Reactor," will boast enhanced water spraying and sound effects, including a 360-degree water-splashing system that releases 200,000 liters of water each day.

Festival founder Pulin Milintachinda commented, "It's basically the world's wettest party. We’re bringing to Hong Kong a Songkran music festival." He added, "Songkran started in Thailand during the hottest time of the year, using water to bless ourselves. It’s a ritual that evolved into a long party week."
Commenting on this year’s S2O Hong Kong, Milintachinda said, "It's really evolving – from the experience people have [on] the ops side, just from coming in the gate, the ambience, the vibe of the event, through to the second stage, to the whole festival experience."
The event calls on party-goers, especially Gen Y and Z, to flaunt their daring outfits for the ultimate summer splash bash.

There are limited Festival, VIP, and VVIP tickets available before the festival start. Find out more and book your tickets here!
