What is Creamfields music festival?

Creamfields, the UK's premier outdoor dance music festival series, is back in Hong Kong, promising to deliver an experience that’s bigger and better than ever. Organized locally by LiveNation, the music festival is famed for bringing forward the best of EDM artists playing everything from house and techno, to DnB and trance, with international and local musicians set to share the spotlight.

Last year’s iteration of Creamfields Hong Kong was held over the Easter weekend, boasting Calvin Harris, Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, and MK as the showstoppers. It was the first time the festival had returned to the city since 2019, with its previous runs having featured Diplo, Alesso, DJ Snake, Blasterjaxx, and many more globally famed EDM artists.

Creamfields 2024 is bringing the party to the Central Harbour Front Event Space on April 13 (Saturday) and 14 (Sunday).

Creamfields HK 2024 Lineup

Set to feature over 40 acts, Creamfields HK 2024 stars Martin Garrix, Zhu, Armin van Buuren, and Illenium as its main headliners. Iconic acts making their first performances in the city are set to include Drum n Bass icons Chase and Status along with fellow Brit Dimension, and Philadelphia’s Subtronics.

Also making a grand debut in Asia are artists playing the Fable Stage Takeover, including names like 7KILLER, MOJO, Ordinary Zhu, and more. The festival is set to section off into the Go Hard Stage, the FSOE Stage, and the Anjuna Stage especially dedicated to artists from the Above & Beyond record label. While the Creamfields HK 2024 timetable isn’t revealed yet, the smashing lineup guarantees a solid weekend of non-stop entertainment.

How to get to Creamfields HK 2024

Set against the world-class backdrop of the Central Harbourfront Event Space along Hong Kong Island’s fringes, Creamfields Festival is set to be a multisensory experience full of fantastic music, buzzing energy, and a visually stunning backdrop of beautiful skies and cityscapes. The venue is easily reachable public transport, with a taxi stand only a few minutes walking distance away.

By Taxi: The Central Harbourfront Event Space address is – 9 Lung Wo Road, Central.

By Bus: Bus lines that stop along the Central Harbourfront Event Space include 260, 302, 720A, 90, 930A, 948B, 962P, 969P. Once you get off the bus, the remaining journey is a 5-minute walk.

By MTR:

• Take Exit A2 of Hong Kong Station. Head up the escalator and walk through IFC mall in the direction of the Central Ferry Piers. Continue along the pedestrian bridge until arriving at the Harbourfront. The journey takes approx. 10 minutes.
• Take Exit A of Central Station. Head up the escalator to walk along the pedestrian bridge in the direction of IFC mall. Walk through the mall in the direction of the Central Ferry Piers, continue along the pedestrian bridge until arriving at the Harbourfront. The journey takes approx. 10 minutes.
• Take Exit A of Admiralty Station. Head up the escalator and along the pedestrian bridge towards Tamar Park. Walk through the park in the direction of the Waterfront Promenade and Westward of Hong Kong Island, the journey takes approx. 15 minutes.

What to bring to Creamfields HK Festival

Reusable bottle: The festival will be offering free drinking water to keep you hydrated and happy after you break out a sweat dancing to the thumping beats.

Portable phone charger: Make sure your phone has enough juice to keep you safely connected with the friends you are attending the festival with, and of course, to take photos or videos for you to make memories with.

An organized wallet: Attendees will need to trade tokens to be used to pay for food and drinks at the venue. Acceptable forms of payment for tokens include Credit Card, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Octopus Card, and cash, though be sure to note that there will not be ATMs at the venue.
