Breer, a Hong Kong-based startup founded by a group of HKUST students in 2019, has pioneered sustainable brewing by turning surplus bread into distinctive craft beers, tackling food waste innovatively. Since it was founded, Breer has been a generous supporter of not only local sustainability events, but also notable businesses across the city. Through these partnerships, the sustainability startup has been able to raise awareness of Hong Kong's food waste problem while offering a tangible- and tasty- solution!

Some of the brands Breer has partnered with over the years include The Hari, Maxim's Group, HK FinTech Week, and most recently, 7-Eleven, their latest venture which features a brew made from used coffee grounds from the convenience store chain.
