‘Reimagine Our Community’ Project Exhibition on Show May 6 –21 at Peel St

‘Reimagine Our Community’ is a project showcase imagining new yet familiar communal spaces that speak to our utopian imaginations of the perfect neighbourhood.

Through photographs, collages, drawings, physical models, videos, and stories, the exhibition is set to bring all five senses to life in reimagining the city. Visitors can explore and observe things around them in a way that turns everyday life into something unforgettable.

There will be three displaying education projects from Eureka architecture design studio, which first coined the word “Social Landscape” and used this methodology to create multi-layered experiences.

Attendees are also welcome to join one of nine writing workshops hosted as part of the exhibition between the timeslots of 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM, 4 PM – 5 PM, and 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM on the dates of May 6, 13, and 20.

Initiated in 2021 by Hong Kong-based curators Annette Chu and Gabriel Lee in collaboration with Design Trust, the research project was introduced to extract distinct urban characteristics around the city and connect them to people’s daily living experiences. Explore innovative ideas for creating better urban spaces, and get inspired to strive for a better future for our communities.
