Hong Kong's growing strength as a centre for technology and innovation, and the increasing demand for smart city technologies, have prompted the first-ever Innovation and Technology (InnoEX) exhibition in the city.

The event will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from Apr. 12 to 15 and is aimed at facilitating a platform for exchange and cooperation in innovation and technology. It is expected to attract more than 2,600 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions.

The inaugural InnoEX is the flagship event of Business of Innovation and Technology Week (BITWeek), driven by the Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The themes of the exhibition include Smart City, Smart Economy, Smart Environment, Smart Government, Smart Living, and Smart Mobility.
