Commuters in Malaysia are in for a treat as KTM Berhad (KTMB) is offering a 25% discount on all electric trains and intercity express services!
Passengers may avail of the promo using the code TRAVEL2SAMASAMA until Dec. 31. The discount is valid for a minimum of four Malaysian citizens in a single transaction.
In a press launch on Friday, Jan. 27, KTMB CEO Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin said the travel campaign is one of KTMB’s ways to encourage people to use Malaysia’s train services.
“KTMB is always grateful for the feedback from Malaysians who choose a quality, comfortable, and affordable train service, especially those with families [who] go on vacation and return to the village,” he said.
Meanwhile, KTMB will operate for 24 hours until Sunday, Feb. 6, in conjunction with the forthcoming Thaipusam Festival to be held at Batu Caves.
Tickets are available for purchase at KTMB’s kiosk centres. For cashless payments, buy via KTMB’s mobile app or official website.
