DOST National Science Fair to Return to World Trade Center on Nov. 23-27
Filipino scientists and science enthusiasts, rejoice! The Department of Science and Technology's (DOST) National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) will finally make a physical comeback after two years of virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year's NSTW will return to the World Trade Center in Pasay City from Nov. 23-27 for the public to view the latest scientific innovations and inventions, as well as science and technology research by Filipino scientists and experts.
According to a press release by the DOST on Oct. 4, the hybrid NSTW will run on the theme "Agham at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Maunlad at Matatag na Kinabukasan."
Visitors can expect to catch exhibits at the World Trade Center, while forums, webinars, and virtual talks will be shown online for those who wish to attend NSTW but can't make the trip to Pasay. There will also be techno-products and activities on DOST innovations in agriculture, health, education, energy, environmental protection, and more.
Health protocols and restrictions will still be implemented amid the five-day fair to ensure physical distancing is followed and overcrowding is avoided.
