PH SEA Games Medalists to Receive Extra P11M Cash Incentives

The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) rewarded 227 Filipino athletes with cash bonuses in recognition of their tough training, preparation, and competitive fights during the recently concluded Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

Team Philippines acquired 52 gold, 70 silver, and 105 bronze medals. Gold medalists will receive P100,00 each, while silver and bronze champs will be handed out P30,000 and P10,000, respectively.

The POC has given a total of P11 million cash incentives, which will be deposited directly to the athletes’ bank accounts.

Several POC's partners, including the MVP Sports Foundation, San Miguel Corporation, and Ulticon Builders Inc., contributed to make the additional incentives possible.
