Queen! Precious Paula Nicole Is Crowned First Winner of 'Drag Race Philippines’

Slay! Precious Paula Nicole was crowned as the first winner of "Drag Race Philippines" on Wednesday at Okada Manila, beating 11 other drag queens to be hailed the superstar!

The Filipino version of "RuPaul's Drag Race," Drag Race Philippines premiered on Aug. 17 and capped off yesterday after 10 episodes.

Precious Paula Nicole, Marina Summers, Xilhouette, and Eva Le Queen were the first season's final four, as per a report by Rappler yesterday, and were given Bongga Camp Day and Indigenous Extravaganza as prompts for their looks.

Precious and Eva went head-to-head in the first round of Lip Sync for The Crown by performing RuPaul's "Sissy That Walk," with Precious emerging as the winner. Xilhouette and Marina battled it out to RuPaul's "Call Me Mother," with Marina winning the round. Precious and Marina then performed "Sirena" by Gloc 9, with the former winning the lip sync battle.

"Life is precious and so are we. Let's continue to inspire and let's continue to love," Precious was quoted as saying as she was hailed as the winner. "I am Precious Paula Nicole, your drag race superstar."

As the first superstar of "Drag Race Philippines," Precious is entitled to a P1 million cash prize and a one-year supply of Patrick Starr's ONE/SIZE cosmetics.

Other drag queens that graced this season were Brigiding, Corazon, Gigi Era, Lady Morgana (named Miss Congeniality), Minty Fresh, Prince, Turing, and Viñas DeLuxe, who all performed with host Mamwa Pao during the final episode.
