FTW! PH's 'Lumpia Queen' Abi Marquez Among Webby Awards Nominees

Another Filipina is making her way onto the international scene! This time, it is internet personality Abi Marquez, also known by her TikTok moniker: “Lumpia Queen.”

The 23-year-old food content creator has been nominated for this year’s 28th Webby Awards under the Social—Food and Drink Category. She was picked among 13,000 project submissions, joining notable figures in the digital food community such as Jennifer Garner, America’s Test Kitchen, Danny Freeman, and Edith Galvez as nominees in the category.

Established in 1996, the Webby Awards is the leading recognition body that honors the Internet’s very best in various categories, including social media, podcast, gaming, public service and activism, and many more. Past Winners include American singer-songwriter SZA and television host Jimmy Fallon.
