Stop Self-Diagnosing and Get Professional Help From These Teleconsult Apps
You feel a slight discomfort in one part of your body. Not knowing what it is, you decide to search your symptoms on Google. To your surprise, multiple health conditions come up. You feel a cold sweat after reading their descriptions, scared that you could be suffering from one of them. Later on, it turns out that the discomfort you suffered isn’t as serious as you feared.
Self-diagnosing (at some point) can help you determine what could be wrong with your body, but it’s prone to error and may be dangerous. What you need is a medical professional who can tell you what’s truly going on with your body.
If you’re still scared to visit hospitals, here are some apps you can download for teleconsultation.
NowServing by SeriousMD
NowServing was originally built to inform patients of their queue so they can do other important things while waiting for a doctor to become available. When the COVID-19 pandemic started, the app was updated to keep both patients and doctors safe while doing consultations.
Now, you can book an appointment, ask the doctor’s staff for minor questions, get access to prescriptions, receive laboratory results, and many more. Some of the specialties available are ear, nose, and throat (ENT), primary care and general medicine, OB-GYN and women’s health, pediatrics, endocrinology, dermatology, and cardiology, among others.
