Manila International Book Fair Announces Dates for 2024 Edition

Eyes here, bookworms! Mark your calendars and prepare to score books at a cheaper price as the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is set to come back this year.

MIBF revealed the dates for this year’s fair through their cover photo update on Jan. 24. According to the post, the 2024 edition will be happening from Sept. 11 to 15 at its usual venue, SMX Convention Center Manila. So far, no fair hours, schedule of activities, and entrance fee have been announced yet.

MIBF is the largest and longest-running book fair in the country. For over 44 years, the fair has showcased the largest and most comprehensive collection of books, comics, educational aids, magazines, and allied materials from local and international publishers and suppliers.

Similar to its previous runs, the fair is expected to have hundreds of participating exhibitors, ranging from mainstream and independent publications to academic publishers and bookstores. On top of books, art and reading-related materials are also expected to fill the venue.

Aside from bookselling, visitors can likewise enjoy several activities like book launches, author signings, storytelling sessions, workshops, and more.
