Art In Island: 3D Art Gallery is an immersive, interactive art exhibition located in Cubao, Quezon City. Often referred to as a "selfie museum," this unique venue offers visitors the chance to step into the artwork and become a part of the artistic experience.
Founded by South Korean businessman Yun Jae Kyoung, Art In Island opened its doors in November 2014. The gallery is housed within a two-storey building that spans 3,800 square meters (41,000 square feet), making it one of the largest 3D art museums in Asia. The initial exhibits were completed in just four months by a team of 18 talented Korean visual artists.
Art In Island is best known for its optical illusion murals, which transform flat, two-dimensional paintings into lifelike 3D experiences. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the art, posing for photos that make them appear as if they are part of the artwork itself.
The museum's collection features around 100 unique paintings, including creative interpretations of iconic works like Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Edvard Munch's The Scream. These playful renditions allow visitors to engage with classic art in a new and exciting way.
Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a great day out, this 3D art gallery promises a memorable experience where you can truly become part of the art.
