“The National MILO® Marathon: 50th Anniversary ‘The Golden Run’” celebrates five decades of grassroots sports development and Filipino running culture. The nationwide series spans 15 races across the country, beginning on March 1 and concluding with the National Finals on Dec. 6 at Clark City, Pampanga.

The marathon’s multi‑city calendar includes races in Pasay City, Naga City, Sorsogon City, Davao City, General Santos City, Dipolog City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Tagbilaran City, Dumaguete City, Bacolod City, Vermosa, Cavite, and Subic, Zambales. Running on July 17-19, July 31, Aug. 1-2, and Aug. 21-23, 2026, with performances at 7 PM, this Filipino adaptation of Tennessee Williams' classic "Summer and Smoke" explores themes of longing, faith, desire, and the lingering memories that continue to shape lives long after pivotal moments have passed.

Presented by PORVENIR, an independent theatre company dedicated to creating and reimagining Filipino works for contemporary audiences, the production runs for three weekends only.
