Experience a moving theatrical tribute with "Saglit Lang," written by BJ Crisostomo and directed by Dr. Anton Juan. Returning for a special five-show run at Rizal Mini-Theatre, Ateneo de Manila University, the production will be staged on Aug. 21 at 2 PM; Aug. 22 at 2 PM and 7 PM; and Aug. 23, 2026, at 2 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are priced at P1,000, with a 20% discount for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Set inside an abandoned theater, the play follows an eager young artist and a maestro who shares stories of memory, history, art, life, love, and the enduring spirit of performance. Through their encounters, audiences are taken on a journey through the history of theater and its role as an art form created by people, for people. The cast features Ron Capinding as the Maestro, alongside Rico del Rosario and BJ Crisostomo as the Young Artist.
Presented in conjunction with the birth month of Dr. Ricardo G. Abad, the production serves as a remembrance and tribute to one of the most influential figures in Ateneo and Philippine theater. Proceeds from the Aug. 22, 2026, at 7 PM Special Benefit Show will support the Ricardo G. Abad Endowment Fund for Sciences and the Arts in the Ateneo.

“The National MILO® Marathon: 50th Anniversary ‘The Golden Run’” celebrates five decades of grassroots sports development and Filipino running culture.
