“The National MILO® Marathon: 50th Anniversary ‘The Golden Run’” celebrates five decades of grassroots sports development and Filipino running culture. The nationwide series spans 15 races across the country, beginning on March 1 and concluding with the National Finals on Dec. 6 at Clark City, Pampanga.

The marathon’s multi‑city calendar includes races in Pasay City, Naga City, Sorsogon City, Davao City, General Santos City, Dipolog City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Tagbilaran City, Dumaguete City, Bacolod City, Vermosa, Cavite, and Subic, Zambales. Each stop reflects the event’s mission to make competitive running accessible across regions while nurturing emerging talent.

Designed for runners of all levels, the MILO Marathon emphasizes discipline, determination, and community, offering participants the chance to challenge themselves while becoming part of a long‑standing national tradition. Embrace confidence, movement, and self-expression at "Tease In Heels" Dance Classes with Juicy Jo, running on select dates from Sept. 5-27, 2026, at Brave Studio. Led by London-based choreographer Juicy Jo, this empowering dance series invites participants to explore heels choreography while connecting with their feminine energy in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Designed for beginner to intermediate dancers, each 90-minute class begins with 30 minutes of warm-up and technique training, followed by one hour of heels choreography. Every session features a different song and routine, allowing returning participants to continually build new skills, confidence, and performance quality while enjoying a fresh dance experience each week.

Classes take place from 8 PM to 9:30 PM on Sept. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2026. Rates are priced at P500 for solo entry, P900 for duo entry, and P550 for walk-ins. Dancers can also take advantage of a special promotion where booking four solo classes earns one additional solo class free.

Step into a vibrant celebration of Filipino music, culture, and self-expression with "Bongga Ka 'Day: The Annie Batungbakal Musical," running on select dates from Sept. 18 to Oct. 24, 2026, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Inspired by the beloved 1979 film starring National Artist Nora Aunor, this large-scale theatrical production reimagines the iconic story of Annie Batungbakal through the timeless music of legendary OPM band Hotdog.

Following the success of "Bagets: The Musical," the same production team brings another beloved Filipino classic to the stage, blending nostalgia with a contemporary perspective. The musical explores themes of identity, confidence, resilience, and individuality, making it a meaningful experience for longtime fans of OPM as well as younger audiences discovering these songs for the first time. The production is co-produced by Viva, The Philippine STAR, and Newport World Resorts, with creative direction from PETA Plus.

Audiences can look forward to hearing enduring classics such as "Annie Batungbakal," "Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko," and "Pers Lab," woven into a story-driven theatrical experience. Performances are scheduled at 3 PM and 8 PM on select dates, bringing the spirit of one of OPM’s most influential eras back to life on stage.

Explore fresh perspectives, bold storytelling, and emerging theatrical talent at "Shorts and Briefs 2026: What If?", running from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4, 2026, at Halxyon Club in Makati. Presented by Eksena PH, the annual theatre festival returns for its 12th edition with six original, previously unstaged productions that examine the possibilities, regrets, dreams, and alternate paths hidden within life's biggest "what ifs." The festival spotlights a new generation of playwrights, directors, actors, and designers, offering audiences a first look at original Filipino works.

This year's lineup includes "Palakakay," "Kapag Wala ng Deadline," "Ang Unang Bading sa Langit," "Bago Ka Nangyari," "Takot Ako Mamatay Nuon, Ngayon, Slight Lang," and "Kape at Brownout." From stories about love, identity, mortality, friendship, and second chances to imaginative journeys involving frogs, ghosts, and heavenly encounters, each production presents a distinct take on the festival's central theme.

Performances take place on Fridays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM and 7:30 PM. Admission to all six plays is priced at P1,000, while PWD and Senior Citizen tickets are available for P850 with valid identification.
