Witness a powerful staged reading of Duncan Macmillan's "People, Places & Things," an acclaimed contemporary play that explores addiction, identity, and the challenging path toward recovery. Taking place at The Black Box at the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell Makati, the production will be presented for four performances only on Aug. 15-16, 2026, at 3 PM and 7:30 PM.

The story follows Emma, a theater actress whose life begins to unravel after a drunken performance threatens her career. Seeking help, she checks herself into a rehabilitation center under a false name, struggling to distinguish truth from the many personas she has created both on and off the stage. As therapy sessions and difficult conversations force her to confront her past, Emma begins the painful process of uncovering the person beneath the performance.

Leading the cast is Jake Cuenca, returning to the stage after Sandbox's "Lungs," alongside Gabby Padilla, fresh from "Tiny Beautiful Things," and Bela Padilla in her theater debut. Directed by Sab Jose, this intimate production offers a thoughtful examination of addiction, healing, and self-discovery. Tickets are priced at P1,900 for Premium seats and P2,000 for VIP seats.
