It’s no longer raining in Manila, but that doesn’t mean you’ll no longer hear the viral ear candy, “Raining in Manila,” by OPM band Lola Amour. The band behind the viral rainy day anthem just announced they will have a “Raining in Manila” tour, and they will kick it off with a free concert at the Open Air Auditorium in Luneta Park on Aug. 12.
Fans were quick to comment on the band’s social media channels, showing how much they’re looking forward to the show. Due to the expected number of people planning to attend the event, a pre-registration took place on Aug. 9 to avoid overcrowding.
Unfortunately, the event is already sold out as of this writing, but don’t fret, as you can still groove to the music as there will be an LED screen outside the venue.
Aside from Lola Amour, the other artists who will be performing in the kick-off show are PLAYERTWO, Arthur Miguel, The Ridleys, and Leanne & Naara. The show starts at 5 PM and attendees are advised to bring umbrellas in case it rains. For the complete event guidelines, go here.
