The Songbird Supreme is bringing her “The Celebration of Mimi” on the road from May to November 2025 in Asia – the Philippines included! This was announced by Mariah Carey herself, with the concert coinciding with the 20th anniversary year of her “The Emancipation of Mimi” album.
“The Celebration of Mimi” tour is set for five Asian cities: Shanghai, Bangkok, Manila, Kobe, and Yokohama.

Released in 2005, this album by Mariah Carey is regarded to be her “comeback album” and her most expressive at the time by Fox News, which highlighted her creative freedom and noted the themes of independence and lack of restraint.
The album was also Mariah Carey’s highest-selling release in the United States after her 1995 album “Daydream,” and is ranked as the 52nd best album of all time on “Billboard’s Top 200 Albums of All Time” List.
The album saw Mariah Carey’s collaborations with numerous songwriters, including Jermaine Dupri, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West (Ye), Twista, Nelly, Pharrell Williams, and James “Big Jim” Wright.

Southeast Asia’s biggest board game event, the All aBOARD Expo 2026 returns to the Quezon City M.I.C.E Center this May 28 to 31, 2026!
Following the event’s successful debut last year, which drew over 10,000 attendees, the four-day convention is set to expand its lineup of tournaments, community spaces, and game launches for both long-time hobbyists and first-time players.

This year’s program includes larger competitive tournaments for titles like Catan, Cascadia, Unmatched, Ashes: Ascendancy, Harmonies, and more, alongside debuts of new and localized titles such as Modern Art PH, Sinigang, and Kalikasan. Organizers are also teasing a couple of world premieres, limited-edition collectibles, and expanded free-play areas featuring over 100 games from participating publishers.
This year’s roster of international guests includes The Dice Tower’s Tom Vasel, Board Game Designer Yohan Goh, Board Game Designer Rob Daviau, Art Director and Illustrator Maeva de Silva, Game Design Instructor Emerson Matsuuchi, Studio Designer Colby Dauch, Board Game Designer Randy Flynn, Game Designer at-large Anthony Perone, Educator Hana Cho, and Game Designer & Illustrator David Esbrí.
Apart from the tournaments, visitors can expect board game panel discussions, workshops, exclusive merchandise, and special activities. Registration is now available via the Gaming Library website, with six ticket pass types: Tarsier Junior Pass (Free), Tamaraw Journey Pass (Free for QC Residents), Binturong (P150), Haribon VIP Pass (P1,000), Adarna VIP Pass (P3,000), and Bakunawa VIP Pass (P5,500).
Positioned as both a gaming event and community gathering, the All aBOARD Expo continues to spotlight tabletop game culture as an increasingly social and creative space in the region.
