Playback Punk, Rock, and Emo Music Festival to Rock Manila on May 2025

This one’s for you, 2000s kids!
If you’re anything like us and had your own “emo” phase, great news! Because the Playback Punk, Rock, and Emo Music Festival is bringing together our favorite punk, rock, and emo bands in one night of live music this coming May.
Happening on May 8, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the Playback Punk, Rock, and Emo Music Festival will be headlined by bands Boys Like Girls, The Click Five, and Secondhand Serenade. At the concert, fans can expect the bands to perform some of their biggest hits, which rocked the world in the early 2000s.
Aside from their live performances, the festival will also treat fans with pop-up bars, photobooths, food booths, and official merchandise from the artists.
Tickets to the festival will be available starting Dec. 21 at 11 AM via Ticketmelon, with prices ranging from P4,500 (Silver) to P10,000 (Platinum), excluding ticket charges.
Boys Like Girls, The Click Five, and Secondhand Serenade are the minds behind hit punk-rock songs such as “Love Drunk,” “Jenny,” and “Fall for You,” respectively.
Boys Like Girls also makes their return to Manila after their successful concert last April, while Secondhand Serenade comes back following his Manila show last August. Meanwhile, the announcement of The Click Five as part of the lineup hints at the band’s reunion following their break-up in 2013.
