Festival of Lights 2023 Illuminates Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati

A spectacular show of dancing lights has shone over the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City once again, as Ayala Land has kicked off this year’s “Festival of Lights!”

Unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 14, the festival launched with the theme “Christmas Nights with Countless Lights.” This year, more attractions are set up across various areas, with some of them offering interactive experiences for their visitors.

One of the attractions is the light show “Kaleidoscope of Sight, Sound, and Light,” which features mappable LED lighting technology and interactive images projected on Ayala Triangle’s floors.

The show also busts out a music accompaniment arranged by sound designer Arvy Dimaculangan, divided into three medleys: “Paskong Pinoy,” which features classic Filipino Christmas songs; “Cosmic K-Pop Christmas,” featuring trendy K-Pop music; and “Big Band Holiday,” which features ballroom-themed tunes.

Ayala Land also debuts two new attractions for the festival. “Wish Upon a Light,” located in the northern part of the garden, features a wishing pond where people can come and write their wishes on the interactive screen.

The festival is also yet to unveil “Liter of Light,” an art installation that features the collaboration work of Leeroy New, Arte House, and Illac Diaz, which uses “solar-powered and recycled bottles.” This attraction will open to the public beginning Dec. 2.

The “Festival of Lights 2023” will run until Jan. 14 next year. Shows are playing every hour from 6 PM to 10 PM daily.
