Lancôme Ambassador Kathryn Bernardo Welcomes Filipinos to Idôle House
The ultimate beauty pop-up experience is finally coming to the Philippines. Famous worldwide in cities such as London, Paris, and Singapore, Idôle House is renowned for offering friends and fans of the maison an immersive experience. Embodying the lighthearted playfulness of the Idôle line, Idôle House is set to open to the public at The Balmori Suites in Rockwell beginning July 19.
Inspiring the maison and the upcoming House is Lancôme Philippine Brand Ambassador Kathryn Bernardo. Empowered by her decades in the industry, Kathryn finds herself in what she says is her current – and most transformative – era.
“Every era or chapter in my life would be my ‘Idôle’,” shared the latest face of Lancôme Philippines. “I just turned 28...and I feel like this is my transformation era. I’m very independent. I opened 2024 with a different mindset and a different motivation...that’s why it’s special.”
Known to be an "Idôle" of her generation, Kathryn has found much success in her career. Yet, she isn’t one to sit back and coast, finding that she prefers challenges over her own comfort zone: “I feel very empowered every time I accept a very challenging role,” she shared.
Embodying the values of the very perfume – which unapologetically exudes the modern and feminine aromas of citrus, flora, vanilla, and white musk – Kathryn is strong, empowered, and outspoken.
As an actress, she’s had to put herself in the shoes of many a character; yet, the minutiae of every person she’s ever portrayed further empowers her to dig deeper into the art. “In my line of work, it’s something different every time – and an out-of-the-box project is [always] a challenge. Every time I overcome that, it’s very empowering. The fulfillment I feel after seeing the output of my hard work, that’s what’s very empowering for me.”
Much like Idôle, Kathryn exudes happiness. And while the meaning of happiness is constantly evolving, Kathryn knows that this happiness isn’t rooted in one single thing or aspect in her life – rather, it’s in an alignment of values, a feeling of “rightness.” As she enters her 28th year in life – inching closer to the somewhat intimidating milestone of 30 – Kathryn has found happiness in the people and the projects that resonate with her values.
“What’s important is that you must find the right people, the right hobby, the right job, the right profession, whatever it is that fuels your happiness. You’ll never know what form happiness [will take when] it comes to you. It can be from a person, from your friends, or from yourself," Kathryn said.
