Look at This Stuff: Pandora Releases New ‘The Little Mermaid’ Collection

In case you didn’t know, the live-action movie remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” featuring Halle Bailey has already hit the Philippine shores last week. Along with its release, Danish jewelry brand Pandora has announced a new Disney x Pandora The Little Mermaid collection called Journey Beyond the Sea that will make you sing “Look at this stuff, isn’t neat?”

The seven-piece collection features designs that capture the essence of friendship and adventure, while championing female empowerment and independence.

Some of the styles you can get are a pair of 14K gold-plated Seashell Stud Earrings and a 14K gold-plated Shell Dangle Charm engraved with the message “My voice is a treasure.” Other dangle charms available are an image of Ariel with a blue green tail, a crab with a bright red “shell” that resembles Sebastian, and a violet pearl clasped in Ursula’s tentacles.

Pandora noted in a press release that SVP creative directors A. Filippo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo shaped the collection around the fearless spirit and sense of freedom of Ariel. “Our inspiration was drawn from the diverse characters and unlikely friendships that empower Ariel’s story,” Ficarelli said. “We hope these designs are a reminder for our fans to approach life with curiosity,” Terzo added.
