PSA, cinephiles! In the mood for classic, award-winning movies? Great news, because the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is kicking off its “FDCP Presents: A Curation of World Cinema” this March!

Beginning March 6, the organization will screen seven critically acclaimed international films in selected cinemas nationwide, including renowned Hong Kong director, producer, and screenwriter Wong Kar Wai’s classics “In the Mood for Love,” “Chungking Express,” “Fallen Angels,” and “Happy Together,” all restored in 4K resolution.

Completing the lineup are Cannes-winning films “Anatomy of a Fall,” “How to Have Sex,” and Wei Shujun’s neo-noir film “Only the River Flows.” Aside from the March screenings, the films will also be shown in FDCP’s Cinematheque Centres in April 2024.

According to FDCP, the screening will be held under the organization's “Audience Development Program,” which aims to make critically acclaimed films accessible to Filipinos and encourage film appreciation among them.

You can book tickets for these films via SM Cinema, Robinsons Movieworld, Megaworld Cinemas, Gateway Cineplex 18, Power Plant Cinema, Ayala Malls Cinemas, Vista Cinemas, Red Carpet Cinemas, Fora Filinvest Malls, Fisher Box Office Fisher Mall, Century City Mall, Commercenter, Festival Cinemas, and Cinema '76 Film Society.
