Billie Eilish Returns With New EP ‘Guitar Songs’

Global pop superstar Billie Eilish surprise-dropped her latest project “Guitar Songs” at midnight on Friday, July 22. Marking her first release since her Grammy-nominated album “Happier Than Ever” in 2021, “Guitar Songs” is a two-track acoustic EP comprising fresh, haunting tunes “TV” and “The 30th.”

The 20-year-old singer on Instagram captioned a photo of the cover art, "These songs mean so so much to me. I am so happy for them to be yours.”

In an interview with Apple Music, the “Bad Guy” singer said she doesn’t want to wait until the next album cycle to put out her new tracks. “These songs are really current for me, and they’re songs that I want to have said right now,” Eilish said.

Fans can expect to hear “TV” and “The 30th" live at Billie Eilish’s forthcoming concert at the National Stadium on Aug. 21. Tickets are still available to purchase via Ticketmaster Singapore for S$130, excluding booking fee.
