Singaporeans Among Top Listeners of Taylor Swift on Spotify Ahead of 'Midnights'

It looks like there are a lot of hardcore Swifties in the Lion City!

Singapore claimed the 10th spot among the top 13 cities that listened to Taylor Swift the most from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4, according to Spotify’s streaming data. London leads the list, followed by New York, Sydney, Melbourne, and Quezon City. Also part of the top 13 are Chicago, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Mexico City, Atlanta, Brisbane, and Dallas.

Just last September, the Grammy award-winning artist became the most streamed female act on Spotify, with a total of 32.1 billion streams and 58 million monthly listeners.

Taylor Swift, who reached mainstream success in 2007 for her chart-topping track “Teardrops on My Guitar,” is set to drop her highly anticipated 10th studio album “Midnights” on Oct. 21. She described it as a collection of music spanning 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout her life.
