Look: Mister Donut Opens First Pop-Up Store in Singapore
The famed doughnut chain Mister Donut launched its first-ever takeaway kiosk at WAttention Plaza, Jurong Point on Friday, July 15.
According to a Twitter user, customers lined up as early as 9 AM and waited nearly five hours to order from Mister Donut's wide selection of handmade pastries and beverages. Popular doughnuts such as Pon De Ring and Angel French are available on the site, with prices ranging from S$2.30 to S$2.50 per piece. A box of six is also available at S$13.50, while a box of 10 is S$22.
The pop-up store is part of the company’s strategy to test the market in Singapore. It's open to the public until Aug. 15 from 11 AM to 9 PM and will serve a maximum of 3,000 doughnuts per day, with a cap of 10 doughnuts per customer.
Mister Donut is an international doughnuts corporation founded in the United States in 1956 by Harry Winokur. Today, the brand boasts more than 10,000 stores worldwide.
