Singapore Is World’s Most Stock-Obsessed Country, Study Reveals
Singapore ranked as the world’s most stock-obsessed country in the world, according to a study conducted by U.K. financial services provider CMC Markets.
The study examined Google Trends data using keywords “stocks,” “buy stocks,” and “interest rate,” all of which were combined to give each English-speaking nation a total score.
Singapore topped the list with a total score of 555, followed by India with 492. Canada took the third spot with a score of 462, while the United States placed fourth with 453.
