Located in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur, the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) MRT station is now renamed as TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT station as the line welcomes the South Korean brand, further empowering the tech giant’s marketing and advertising.

In a press release, Samsung officially took over the largest interchange station between the TRX station and the Putrajaya line, which caters to more than 220,000 passengers daily.

Additionally, the station also leads directly to the latest lifestyle mall, The Exchange TRX, making it a perfect place for Samsung to bring their brand closer to people.

“The TRX MRT Station is a key station within the MRT network, as it has been designed to anchor the TRX International Financial District as well [as] Kuala Lumpur’s latest major retail destination, offering great commercial value in advertising and marketing,” MRT Corp CEO Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim said.

“We are pleased to welcome the globally renowned Samsung Galaxy as our Station Naming Rights and Station Domination Advertising partner at this station, now named TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station. Commuters accessing the station will now be greeted by Samsung Galaxy’s striking visuals and catchy advertisement adorning the space,” he added.

In celebration of the grand opening of the station, Samsung Galaxy users can redeem their free RM5 TNG credit at the Samsung Experience Store at The Exchange TRX with the Samsung members app in a Touch N’ Go giveaway.
