TAT, Thai AirAsia Unveil New ‘Amazing New Chapters’ Aircraft Design

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Thai AirAsia revealed a newly decorated aircraft last week, Sept. 14, to help boost the country’s tourism efforts this high season. The aircraft will operate on both domestic and international routes, particularly to ASEAN destinations and India, which are Thailand’s top tourism markets.

“The decorative design of the aircraft promotes the Amazing Thailand, Amazing New Chapters concept, and highlights the new, unique, worthwhile, and impressive experiences that await visitors to Thailand. At the same time, it celebrates the long-standing partnership between TAT and AirAsia in marketing Thailand as a preferred holiday destination for travellers from Asia and further afield,” TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn was quoted as saying in a press release.

The aircraft’s exterior combines the Amazing New Chapters logo with designs focusing on the Nature, Food, and Thainess (NFT) concept, including a tuk-tuk and Thailand’s temples and dishes. The interiors, on the other hand, highlight the country’s tourism products, services, and attractions.

The TAT will be extending its Amazing Thailand, Amazing New Chapters concept until 2023 with the “Visit Thailand Year 2022-2023: Amazing New Chapters” campaign. In the coming months, they plan to unveil another aircraft design featuring Thailand’s 5F (Food, Festival, Film, Fashion, and Fight) soft-power strategy.
