It’s time to transport ourselves back to Middle Earth, as there will be a “The Lord of the Rings” full orchestra concert happening in Bangkok this October!

Titled “The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring: In Concert,” the immersive musical performance will take place at Mahidol University’s Prince Mahidol Hall on Oct. 28-29 at 3 PM.

As a first in Thailand, the concert for the first film of the trilogy promises to bring the extraordinary journey of Frodo Baggins to life with the help of the talented members of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. Over 100 musicians will be playing a range of rare instruments, along with a majestic choir of 150 people.

Tickets are now available via Eventpop, with seating areas labelled after names fans are familiar with: The One Ring Seat (THB4,000), Wizard Seat (THB3,500), Elf Seat (THB2,950), Gondor Seat (THB2,400), Rohan Seat (THB1,950), Dwarf Seat (THB1,600), and Hobbit Seat with restricted view (THB1,200).

A Mithril Seat (THB1,200) is also available for audiences with kids under six years old in tow. It’s best to note, however, that this is a family room where listening is done through speakers only in a closed mirror room.
