ICYMI: Remastered Edition of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ Back in Theatres

Get ready to witness again Frodo’s journey from The Shire to Mordor as the remastered 4K edition of Peter Jackson's epic blockbuster "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy is showing in Major Cineplex, just in time for the film’s 20th anniversary.

For those who have been living under a rock, Major Cineplex released “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” last June 29, followed by “The Two Towers” on July 6.

On July 13, the screening of "The Return of the King" will take place, so make sure you don't miss Aragorn's triumphant return to Gondor. Although many LOTR fans would argue the extended edition is best, the trilogy will be shown in its original theatrical releases, which are available in Digital 2D and IMAX.
