Watch Classic Films Under the Stars at theCOMMONS Thonglor's Outdoor Cinema
Looking for the perfect place to bring your date or your loved ones? You might want to consider heading to theCOMMONS in Thonglor, as the shopping complex is opening its outdoor cinema, “Sunset Film Club,” this December!
To run on selected nights from Dec. 2 to Feb. 14, the cinema will feature classic films, including movies that are great for the whole family. Ticketholders will experience a unique viewing experience, as it will be held on the complex’s top yard, allowing them to watch movies under a starry night.
For December, the “Sunset Film Club” will screen five international films: Disney Pixar animation “Inside Out” on Dec. 2; Japanese documentary film “Life is Fruity” on Dec. 9; children’s show “Kids Konference” on Dec. 16; iconic holiday film “Home Alone” on Dec. 23; and romantic-comedy film “Love Actually” on Dec. 31.
From January to February, the cinema will also air “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” “101 Dalmatians,” “Forrest Gump,” “Notting Hill,” and “Before Sunrise,” among others.
What makes the experience more exciting is that each ticket comes with a free popcorn and soft drink. Plus, there are options to add food pairings and “extra perks” that match the chosen movie, so viewers can fully enjoy the film!
Tickets start at THB350 per movie and are available here. The open-air cinema will open at 5:30 PM on the viewing dates, and movies will start at 6 PM.
