What to Watch on Netflix Thailand This June 2022

A new month means another set of binge-worthy Netflix titles to keep you entertained for the next four weeks (or more if you like to keep it slow). Last month, we saw the streaming giant drop the bomb with the much-awaited availability of award-winning South Korean film “Parasite.” In June, the Hallyu craze isn’t taking a pause anytime soon as “Money Heist Korea” – the South Korean adaptation of the beloved Spanish crime series – makes its debut. But that’s not all to watch out for; check out these other exciting new titles to catch on Netflix this June!



Interceptor

For your monthly dose of survival thrillers, this film directed by Matthew Riley is up your alley. It follows Captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) as she finds herself in charge of a nuclear missile interceptor base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean amid looming coordinated attacks. Are her years of experience in tactical training and the military enough to prevent a catastrophe?

Floor is Lava

Pandemic-born game show “Floor is Lava” is back with a second season! The new iteration features “bigger obstacles, higher stakes, and even hotter lava,” as well as “a huge and very slippery volcano that takes the competition to the next level.” If you loved this game as a kid, this game show is the perfect binge watch with its right amount of excitement and comedy.

Hustle

In this sports drama movie, Adam Sandler plays an ex-basketball scout who recruits a player with a rocky past in a bid to revive his own career. Will they make it to NBA? Watch and find out!

The sixth season of British crime drama series “Peaky Blinders” continues to follow the crime gang of the same name in the aftermath of World War I. Watch Tommy Shelby and the rest of the crew as they attempt to move their way up despite the costs.

Jennifer Lopez: Halftime

This Netflix original documentary puts the spotlight on Jennifer Lopez’s career, her rise to fame, and the bumps along the way. One of the focuses is her breakdown from the widely talked about “Hustlers” Oscars snub, where she failed to score a nomination despite stellar reviews. “Halftime” will also make a debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8.

Money Heist Korea

The Korean remake of crime drama TV series “Money Heist” is set to air later in June in lockstep with the original plot of misfit robbers led by The Professor. The adaptation is set in a fictional Joint Economic Area where North and South Korea are expected to peacefully reunify after a decades-long conflict. Yes, the nine original characters are in the show and retain the iconic red jumpsuits. Notably, “Squid Game” actor Park Hae-so plays Berlin.
