Bakery Aurelia is Hong Kong's First Online Bakery Devoted to Financiers

Hong Kong's bakery scene has welcomed a new addition in the form of Aurelia, the city's first online bakery specializing exclusively in financiers. These delectable treats, all meticulously handmade in Hong Kong, are the brainchild of trio of female entrepreneurs who share a profound passion for confectionery.

"Our vision was to diversify Hong Kong's bakery landscape with our authentic financiers and simultaneously educate people about this classic French cake," shares the team.

The name "Aurelia" pays homage to the Latin term for 'gold,' a reference to the distinctive gold bar shape that characterizes traditional financiers. Every creation produced by Aurelia is under the watchful eye of a founder who holds a degree from the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu culinary school.

Having carefully selected La Perruche Cassonade brown sugar, an unrefined cane sugar that has been a staple from France's Réunion Island since 1890, the financiers have been infused with a gentle vanilla flavour from the sugar, beautifully complementing the use of Organic Madagascar Vanilla Beans.

With their debut offerings, Aurelia presents a tempting array of eight financier flavours, each designed to delight the palate, including – Original, Pandan & Coconut, Chocolate & Nutella, Mocha Milo, Churros, Earl Grey Orange, Pistachio, and Sesame. Aurelia crafting these exquisite financiers offers a delightful taste of both classic and modern confectionery artistry.

The collection is now available online at HK$298. An early bird discounted price of HK$258 is on offer from now until stocks last, along with special limited-edition holiday season packaging throughout the rest of December.
