HK Rugby Launches BTEC Diploma in Sport with University of Sunderland

Hong Kong China Rugby is collaborating with the University of Sunderland and the Kai Tak Sports Initiative to offer a groundbreaking Higher National Diploma in Sport to aspiring professionals.

The groundbreaking collaboration is organised in partnership with Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR), University of Sunderland, and Kai Tak Sports Initiative, the creators of a new Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Sport.

The two-year educational plan aims to cultivate proficient professionals in the sports and recreation industry. By offering required knowledge, skills, and competencies, the programme covers a broad range of topics.

From Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyle, Sport and Recreation Policy to Facility Management and Coaching Practice, this course is an all-inclusive package. The programme combines high-quality tertiary education with practical work experience, ultimately leading to real-world outcomes.
