Visa and Octopus are teaming up to reward your everyday payments with an exclusive mobile top-up promotion running from 31 July to 31 October 2025. New and existing users of Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch can enjoy up to HK$350 in Octopus Top-up Value by simply topping up using an eligible Visa card and completing a quick registration.
From 1 August to 31 October 2025, new customers who add a brand-new Octopus to their iPhone or Apple Watch using a Visa card, then complete one more top-up via Apple Wallet or the Octopus App, will receive HK$100 in Octopus Top-up Value as a welcome gift. On top of that, all registered users—both new and existing—can earn HK$30 for every HK$500 top-up using an eligible Visa card, up to five times. That’s a total of HK$150 in extra top-up rewards for just using your phone to reload.
There’s more. From now until 20 September 2025, new users who register a new Mobile Octopus and spend HK$50 or more will receive an additional HK$100 Top-up Value. Plus, you’ll get to customise your Octopus with a free card design from the Octopus Card Image Store in the app.
