SOFT CRASH Exhibit
Venue Name:

Tomorrow Maybe

Venue Address:

4/F, Eaton HK, 380 Nathan Rd, Jordan, Hong Kong

Fri, June 13 - Sun, July 20

11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Enter a space where elegance collides with resistance in "Soft Crash," running from June 13 to July 20, 2025, at the G/F Car Park of Eaton HK. Presented as part of Pride Month 2025, this evocative exhibition transforms a transitional space into a bold site of expression, exploring the intersections of fashion, identity, and queerness. Through the lens of queer, trans, and non-binary photographers and subjects, fashion photography breaks free from its traditional commercial confines and becomes a declaration of self.

The unconventional setting — a car park — serves as both stage and symbol, mirroring the marginal spaces many queer individuals navigate in everyday life. Here, the act of being seen becomes an act of defiance. Each image resists the polished, binary gaze of mainstream fashion and reveals a complex, fluid sense of selfhood.

The exhibition launches with a curator-guided tour on June 13 from 5 PM to 6 PM at the same location, offering deeper insight into its powerful themes. Don’t miss this transformative journey into the aesthetics of resistance, staged at Eaton HK, a beacon for diversity, activism, and art that challenges the status quo.
