This March, Eaton HK shines as Kowloon's premier destination for contemporary art with an ambitious roster of events for Hong Kong Art Month. The program, designed to intrigue and inspire, positions Eaton HK at the forefront of the city's cultural dialogue.

Highlighting the month is "After Human: Marks of the Beasts," a compelling exhibition hosted at Tomorrow Maybe from March 26 to April 28. This showcase delves into the profound effects humans have on animals, presenting them as mythical entities, symbols of wealth, and subjects of artistic fascination. The exhibition boasts an array of mediums, including video, installation, and performance art, by an eclectic mix of local and international talents.

The opening night will be a not-to-miss event featuring artist meet-and-greets and captivating performances by Zoe Marden (UK/HK), Sonia Wong (HK), and Joy Li (CN/US). Korean artist Sungsil Ryu, known for her satirical take on materialistic desires through fictional narratives, will have her work screened, followed by a discussion with her and curator Joseph Chen. Additionally, Sungsil's artist residency at Eaton HK, from March 20 to April 3, offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at her creative process.

Documentary enthusiasts can look forward to "Donna Haraway: Story Telling for Earthly Survival," an exploration of storytelling's power. Moreover, Eaton HK will host thought-provoking lectures and talks, including a performing lecture series by Zoe Marden and Joy Li, and a discussion on Contemporary Art and Meme Culture with @freeze_magazine.

Concluding the month's events will be a somatic music performance, combining traditional singing hall artistry with contemporary performance in a reflection on spirituality and geology's role in the relationship between human and non-human bodies.
