Exciting news for Coldplay fans! Rumors are swirling that the British rock legends will be heading to Hong Kong in early 2025 as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. Insiders suggest that ticket sales are expected to kick off at the start of next year.
While exact dates and ticket details haven’t been confirmed yet, according to the South China Morning Post,Coldplay could be rocking out at the new mega-stadium Kai Tak, located inKai Tak Sports Park.
Set to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, this impressive venue will accommodate up to 65,000 people, feature a retractable roof, and host an indoor sports center and public sports ground. The rumored performance is poised to be one of the biggest shows ever held at Kai Tak Stadium.

The theatre show “Life of Pi"based on the philosophical novel by Yann Martel, is now bobbing into the Hong Kong art scene in June!
Experience enchanting and immersive theatre that blurs fantasy with reality at West Kowloon Cultural District's Xiqu Centre, from June 26 to 29, 2025.
The Booker Prize awarded novel was adapted into an Oscar-winning film by Ang Lee and then picked up by a UK theatrical production in 2019, before becoming a hit on London's West End. The original theater show has gone on to win five Olivier Awards and three Tony Awards for Best New Play, Best Choreography, and Best Lighting Design.

For those unfamiliar with the story, the plot of Life of Pi follows a sixteen-year-old Indian boy named Pi who is shipwrecked along with his family and has to spend hundreds of days on a lifeboat with only a Bengal tiger as a companion.
A highlight of the show is its immersive production elements, including advanced puppetry that brings various animals to life, such as the Bengal tiger Richard Parker, hyenas, orangutans, and zebras.
Tickets range from HK$288 to HK$1,188. Concessionary prices for full-time students and senior citizens are: A/$832, B/$692, C/$622, and D/$482.

Kicking off the summer is the annual Dragon Boat Festival, happening on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month which will be on Saturday,May 31 this year. Rooted in the legend of poet Qu Yuan, this centuries old festival has swifty evolved into an event marked by teams of excited paddlers racing against each other in dragon boats to the beat of traditional drums, becoming an integral part of Hong Kong's culture.
Every year, Hong Kong holds one of the largest international dragon boat races and this year is no different. The 2025 Sun Life Hong Kong International Races will be held on June 7-8, 2025 at the Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade.

VRC has also been holding their very own VRC Deep Water Bay Regatta dragon boat competition annually every spring since 1999.
