The 49th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF), Asia's longest-running international film festival, returns to showcase an impressive lineup of 200+ films from 50+ countries.
Founded in 1976, HKIFF remains a premier platform for discovering Hong Kong, Chinese-language, and Asian cinema, while also presenting Asian premieres of international films. This year's highlights include "The Brightest Sun" by Nakashima Tetsuya, "Dreams (Sex Love)" by Dag Johan Haugerud, and "Annette" by Leos Carax, among many others.

The Hong Kong Lacrosse Open 2025, held from April 18-20, 2025, is set to be one of the largest and most competitive lacrosse tournaments in Asia. Hosted by the China Hong Kong Lacrosse Association, this prestigious event will bring together top club and national teams from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Since its inception in 2014, the tournament has become a premier event for lacrosse teams, with up to 8 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams selected to compete. The event aims to foster high-level competition and is expected to showcase some of the finest lacrosse talent from around the world. Teams will compete at the HKU Stanley Ho Sports Centre Complex, a premier venue that promises an exciting and intense atmosphere.
This tournament is an excellent opportunity for players to experience world-class competition and for spectators to enjoy thrilling lacrosse action.
