A shared love for French bistro cuisine brings together Jean-Pierre and Porcine for an exclusive dining collaboration that celebrates simplicity, seasonality, and deep-rooted technique. Headlining the experience are Chef John Troupis of Jean-Pierre and Chef Nik Hill, the chef-owner of Porcine, whose pedigree includes recognition with One Knife at Gourmet Traveller’s Best Chef Awards 2025 and Porcine’s inclusion on La Liste 2026. The partnership draws inspiration from neighborhood French dining, elevated through thoughtful execution and global perspective.

From May 18-19, 2026, guests are invited to enjoy a five-course sharing menu that captures the warmth of a classic French bistro. The evening begins with refined canapés before moving into elegant starters like Salade Gourmande and Foie Gras Rôti, followed by a lavish Bouillabaisse en Trois Services showcasing expertly prepared seafood. Each dish highlights a seamless dialogue between both chefs’ styles and philosophies.

Main courses bring more flavor to the taste buds, including a tableside Dodine de Pigeon and indulgent Soufflé au Turbot, before concluding with polished desserts such as Île Flottante and Soufflé Glacé à la Chartreuse.

Throughout the evening, special bar snacks are served alongside Jean-Pierre’s classic French-inspired cocktails, including the traditional French Chartreuse, reimagined as a dome-shaped masterpiece with intricate layers of delectable fillings, as well as pistachio-infused Pâté en Croûte, Poulet de Bresse stuffed in cabbage, and pressed foie gras with artichokes, presented as a polished showcase of refined French flavors.

This special collaboration is available for two nights only at HK$988 per guest. Advance bookings are highly recommended.

Step into an immersive artistic environment at "Oi! Spotlight — Jeremy’s Bathhouse" from March 19 to Aug. 30, 2026, at Oi! Glassie, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and organized by Oi!. This solo exhibition by Hong Kong artist Chan Wai-lap continues his “Swimming” series, transforming the gallery into a conceptual bathhouse that blends reality with imagination.

Inspired by bathing cultures across different times and places, the installation reinterprets these traditions into a distinctly contemporary Hong Kong context. Through spatial design and sensory storytelling, the exhibition dissolves boundaries between public and private experiences, inviting reflection on how spaces shape identity, memory, and connection.

At its core, the bathhouse becomes a symbolic environment for purification of both body and mind, while also exploring themes of self-discovery and shared human experience. The exhibition offers an immersive encounter that encourages visitors to reconsider how culture and perception interact within everyday environments, framed through Chan Wai-lap’s distinctive artistic lens.

Asia Society Hong Kong Center presents “Hung Hsien: Between Worlds” from March 25 to June 21 at the Chantal Miller Gallery, marking the first exhibition in the “Celebration of Ink” series. The exhibition focuses on 92-year-oldHung Hsien (洪嫻, Margaret Chang), a modern ink art pioneer whose career spans more than seven decades.

Hung Hsien developed a personal ink painting language that bridges traditional Chinese techniques and Western abstract art. Influenced by classical ink masters as well as modernist movements encountered during her studies in the United States, her works are characterized by fluid brushwork, abstract composition, and expressive use of color.

The exhibition sheds light on Hung’s contributions to global modernism, positioning her work within a broader art historical context that connects East and West. By examining her artistic evolution, the show reveals how Hung challenged conventions while preserving the spirit of ink painting.

Guest curated by Dr. Tiffany Wai-ying Beres, in consultation with Dr. Einor Cervone, the exhibition is co-organized by Asia Society Hong Kong Center and Asia Society Texas, with support from multiple cultural foundations. “Hung Hsien: Between Worlds” offers audiences an opportunity to engage with an artist whose work exists between cultures, traditions, and artistic worlds.
